三 | 2022中国足协杯将由来自中超、中甲、中乙以及中冠联赛的41支俱乐部参与。其中，本赛季中超18支队伍直接获得第二轮比赛的参赛资格；中甲18支队伍获得第一轮比赛的参赛资格；中乙联赛中最终获得2022赛季前三名的球队将直接获得足协杯第二轮的参赛资格；中冠联赛方面，将有两支球队直接获得足协杯第二轮的参赛资格。中甲18支队伍参加的首轮比赛，将于8月20日至22日在现有的3个中甲联赛赛区进行，比赛为单回合淘汰制，每个赛区获胜的3支球队晋级。第二轮比赛开始，中超、中甲、中乙以及中冠联赛的俱乐部将全面参加足协杯比赛。第二轮至第六轮比赛计划于2022年11月22日至2023年1月8日以主客场方式进行，第四轮的四分之一决赛和第五轮的半决赛采用双回合淘汰制，最终的决赛为单场决胜制，决赛地点由中国足协选定。

根据抽签结果，首轮比赛对阵如下：大连赛区，苏州东吴对北京理工，黑龙江冰城对青岛海牛，淄博蹴鞠对上海嘉定汇龙；唐山赛区，南通支云对石家庄功夫，江西北大门对新疆天山雪豹，昆山队对辽宁沈阳城市；南京赛区，南京城市对青岛青春岛，陕西长安竞技对广西平果哈嘹，四川九牛对北京北体大。在2021年足协杯决赛中，山东泰山1:0战胜上海海港，成功卫冕。
